Nollywood Actress Monalisa Chinda is set to launch her new magazine
"MONALISA" a lifestyle magazine, on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the
Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
Speaking on the new brand, Monalisa described it as a lifestyle-based
luxurious magazine. 50 percent of the content is all about lifestyle,
luxury and fashion and putting Africa in the limelight.
"I decided to start the Monalisa magazine because I want to show
people the other side of me aside from acting which I've been doing
right from school but I have always wanted to do other things like
Television talk shows so I thought starting a lifestyle magazine would
be the best platform to start.
"Africa as a continent is evolving. There is a lot going on here,
everything in Africa looks new and undiluted. Fashion in this
particular side of the world is going crazy, just to say it's like
they are chasing us here and we are going ahead of everybody globally
so the magazine is a way of showcasing refined, pleasurable way of
living.
"MONALISA as a brand is still your next door girl, and not someone you
can't reach so her setting up a magazine is a way to tell the people
that she wants to go further to reach people at large, the high and
mighty, the socialites who want to celebrate life to its fullest," she
said.

America and will tell all there is to tell about Africans
