The Nigerian Football Federation has ended the contractual talks with sports wear company, Adidas.
According to This Day the federation has decided to explore other sponsorship options.
A source told the newspaper that the ‘Glass House’ has began talks with other brands to find a better option for the national teams' sponsorships.
The contract between the NFF and the German based sports wear company has expired, but Nigeria would continue to appear in Adidas stripes until they secure a sponsor as the federation still has enough stock of jerseys in its store.
Adidas on their part reportedly said they will be backing out from any further deal with Nigeria because of the inability of the NFF to sanction Super Eagles players and officials who were caught breaching the contract by endorsing rival brands while on national duty.
