A boyfriend has spent the last six months working with an
illustrator to change the ending of Disney's Sleeping Beauty, as a way of
proposing to his girlfriend - and I think we can all agree there are amazing
proposals and then there is THIS.
Posting a video of the epic moment on Instagram, the
filmmaker - who has now dubbed himself 'the Sleeping Beauty proposal guy'
explained he had spent months animating himself into the classic Disney film,
to give his now fiancée, Sthuthi, a "happily ever after".
"It's not every day you get to propose to your High
School sweetheart," he captioned the post.
"For the past six months I've been working with
@kaylacoombs to animate @stutzd4 and myself into her favourite movie, Sleeping
Beauty.
"The only thing better than seeing the smartest person
I know completely dumbfounded was knowing we'd get to live happily ever after
together."

In the footage, the pair can be seen watching a screening of
the animation - but just as Prince Phillip is about to kiss Sleeping Beauty -
Sthuthi notices something is wrong.
Much to her confusion, she soon realises Lee has replaced
Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip with an animation of him and Sthuthi,
instead.
The filmmaker then gets down on one knee to ask her to be
his wife.
"I love you with my whole heart, including all of its
ventricles, atriums, valves - she's a cardiologist - Sthuthi David, will you
live happily ever after with me?"
And of course she said YES as Once Upon a Dream plays in the
background.
"Oh my god these poor people," joked Sthuthi -
before realising the cinema is actually filled with her family and friends.
Half laughing and half crying, she explains: "I thought
there was just something wrong with the movie!"
Moments later, in an extra treat for the Disney fan, Lee shows a joke 'alternative ending' to the proposal, in which Snow White's Seven Dwarfs can be seen in floods of tears, crying because Sthuthi 'said no'.
And as they leave the cinema, the pair are almost in tears
of joy themselves after realising 'Congratulations Sthuthi and Lee' has been
plastered across the front of the theatre.
Mega congrats guys, this could be the cutest proposal we've
ever seen.
